Discover the health benefits and nutritional value of various beans., and learn how to feel comfortable to use a pressure cooker.

Some tips to soften beans and avoid gas: Overnight soak washed beans. Don’t use the soaking water. Cook uncovered the first 10 minutes and skim off foam. Add salt the last 20 minutes of cooking.

Traditionally beans and seaweeds are often cooked together to make balance. Just a small piece of kombu will soften and make your beans more digestible.
